Whenever I am doing abs..I get crazy cramps. It's like all my ab muscles just tighten up. I drink enough water, so I don't know the prob. Any help would be appreciated.

are u breathing properly and stretching ur abs?
I stretch my abs before I do them , but maybe I should stretch them out more.. I kinda half ass it.
yea they are bitch to do... but stretching them helps and breathing esp...
I know this may seem stupid but your not mistaking the burn for a cramp are u?
Na bro ..bad cramps... to the point it feels like the muscle is going to pop out. LOL
yeah I have had the exact stuff happen to me at points the past few years...Whenever i would come up for a contraction it would cramp up and i would have to stop and "uncramp" them.
I dont remember if i was supplementing anything when i was on it, but i attributed it to using my abs as stabilizing muscles for the other exercises i did that day/day before and that they were tired or what not
my remedy was to stop doing abs which i had no problem with lol
good abs can be aquired without direct training and with a proper cutting diet....Genetics ofcourse help, but I did little to no ab training for my show, and they came in for sure....The more I dieted the better they looked...they get worked with many movements in your split and can be hit directly, but people overtrain them...train em like any other muscle group...

i get those cramps too! by far the most painful cramps i've ever had....i had one two days ago that i didnt think was going to release my eyes were even watering it was so painful lol i know im a giant puss but i hate cramps
