Leg mass
What excersises build mass in the quads and hamstrings. And also how should you do it. I have been told that legs require alot of sets and reps. But I have also been told that you should lift heavy with short reps for mass. Just wondering what you all thought. I usually do squats and the hip sled. Plus a few other things.

Truthfully, if your squatting hard enough with strict form your quads should be too exhausted to do more pushing exercises. For hams, the best mass builder is stiff legged deadlifts. What's your routine look like now?

I usually do squats, the leg press, and then the quad leg extension machine. And the hamstring machine. I do bent leg dead lifts for back. I never tried stiff leg. I guess I don't see how that would build your hamstrings, I think it would just stretch them?

^^Curling the lower-leg up to the glute is not the sole function of the hamstring.

Sounds good. I will start doing stiff leg deads now.

If squats aren't your thing, try the leg press and go super heavy.
