    no increase in weight

ive been working out the past month and a half or so and ive gained about 15 pounds or so. now some of that is a little fat but ive been getting a bit bigger. My question is why am i not increasing in the amount of weight i do in my workouts. My stats are 190 5'11" my split is 2 on 1 off with back bis, shoulder traps, chest tris, and legs.

    Do you have training partners?

Are you pushing yourself hard each workout?

i agree with what they say also. if ur doing 3 sets of 10. put ur weight up next workout. like if its a machine add 1 slate on or if its free weight add the next step of LBS wether it be like 7.5 lbs total or 15 just keep adding a little when u feel ur doing ur current weight fine. IMO 3 sets 10 reps each set means ur not lifting very hard and using ur effort. if i can get 12 reps first set. 2nd set i can do barely 10 then 3rd set 8. ect 10 10 10 isnt really ur full effort from personal expirence

Change things up..Buy some small weights,1 to 3 pounds..Try dumbells instead of free weights and bar..Try different reps, sets etc..Always keep your body guessing.

its all about weight, if you want to get stronger you need more weight. You have to recruit as many muscle fibers as you can. Plus your body will adapt to any routine generally within 12 weeks. This means your routine needs to be altered to change the physical stress placed on the muscle in order to stimulate a responce.
