what is the best time to do cardio, i know most would say am on a empty stomach but if that aint possible what about pre or post workout or just before bedtime.

AM empty stomach is best (IMO) but if not post workout should give you some results. If your cutting you wouldn't want any food before cardio.
tell you this much i don't feel like doing shit (except taking one or a shower) after cardio, so good luck doing one pre-workout. i'll save my energy and split it up into two sessions
Do it AM and after workout. Thats what I do. I usually do thirty minutes AM and it gets my appetite going, I feel great after showering, and I like being outside when no one else is. After workout I go for about 15-30 minutes, depending on my time. I feel it helps recovery slightly as the increase blood flow is nice.
I do AM and Post workout...if I'm in a rush in the morning then I'll do it 3 hours after a meal to get a semi empty stomach. This works fine for me even though many don't believe fat loss will be optimal.
