Can anyone do one arm pullups and how did you train up to it
Yes, mainly due to a number of years of gymnastics. The Olympic rings can do wonders and I still do them to this very day.
Hah... me ? forget it... I'm 210 Lbs, not strong enought to pull my weight with one arm, not yet! Maybe some day.
I think you gotta be on the small side to do this personally, though no doubt some 250 pound freak on here will chime in to prove me wrong
well dont think we have rings in my gym lol besides you cant just get on rings straight away I would imagine you have to train up to that too somehow, I only want to train up to do one just for fun and I dont quite have the gymast body type ietherOriginally Posted by mavsluva
You can train for this if you have one of those lat pull up machines in your gym where you you stand on the adjustable lever. If you're right handed, it helps to hold your right arm with your left hand while you train for the one arm pull up. You'll finally figure out how to best leverage yourself to achieve this goal.
Hey guys I just found this http://www.beastskills.com/OneArmPull.htm this guy has dedicated his life to the OAP, its lats day tomorow Im going to give it a whirl
Ahh, he has portable olympic rings just like mine. See attached pic.
So he does... how do you use them do you have to hang down the stairwell or somethingOriginally Posted by mavsluva

I use them in various ways in my home gym. I cannot extend myself completely due to the lack of height of my squat rack, but I can still get some things done. I built a station in my back yard that I can hang them from that gives me full range of motion.
