    Proper deads?

ok, i'm getting a little curious as to proper form while doing deads... Just wanna make sure i'm getting the most out of the excercise. From the beginning squatted position, you pull the weight up with your traps and upper back the same time your raise yourself up with your quads and glutes? or should i pull first with the traps and upper back for a split second THEN puc up with quads and glutes?? thanks alot everyone!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Try this to kill two birds with one stone:

On the way up and down, do as many shrugs you can (5-6 I'd say sounds right)

    Deadlifts and shrugs!
