    Fat mans log

Hello everyone. Lets get this out of the way now. I am fat lol. Yeah I am, I tip the scales at 400lbs and I am 5'10" tall.

This is my jouney into a healthy lifestyle. And hopefully this will inspire other people.

    Diet is rather simple.
    Lifting days
    Meal 1
    50g Whey, 1/2 cup Oats.
    Meal 2
Chicken Breast, Broccoli, 1/2 cup Brown Rice
    Meal 3
Chicken Breast, Broccoli, 1/2 cup Brown Rice
    Meal 4
    Whey Shake with Olive oil
    Meal 5 (post workout)
    Whey Shake
    Meal 6
    Chicken Breast and Broccoli

    Non-Lifting days
    Meal 1
    50g Whey, 1/2 cup Oats.
    Meal 2
    Chicken Breast, Broccoli
    Meal 3
    Chicken Breast, Broccoli
    Meal 4
    Whey Shake with Olive oil
    Meal 5 (post workout)
    Whey Shake
    Meal 6
    Chicken Breast and Broccoli

Basically I keep carbs to a minimum on non-lifting days.

I lift twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays following HIT training. and cardio 5-6 times a week.

Supplementation: Keeping it very simple here, True Protein powder, BCAA's, and Multi-Vitamins.

I will post comparative pictures every month to keep track of my progress. I have a fair amount of muscle on me but just plenty of fat over it lol. But that will all change very soon.

    First day of HIT

Pretty much the first day is just a 'FEEL' day to assess what will be the weight I will be using in HIT. All sets are typically 6-8 rep range, followed with some forced reps and/or negatives and static holds.

    Back/Traps/Shoulders/Biceps

    Back
    Hammer Strength Pullovers
2 sets...4 plates 8 reps (first set tried with 3 plates and found it too easy)
    Superset with Close-Grip pulldowns
    2 sets....240lbs 8 reps
    Barbell Row (Underhand Grip)
2 sets....2 plates 8 reps (couldve done more weight)

    Traps
    Barbell Shrugs
    2 sets....355lbs 8 reps
    Superset with Upright Rows
    2 sets....110lbs 8 reps

    Shoulders
    Side Laterals
    2 sets.....45lbs 8 reps
Superset with Hammer Strength Shoulder Presses
    2 sets.....3 plates 8 reps
    Reverse Peck Deck
    2 sets....110lbs to failure

    Biceps
    Barbell Curls
    1 set....115lbs 8 reps
    Dumbell Preacher Curl
    2 sets....45lbs 8 reps

Felt incredibly sluggish after this workout, almost threw up a couple times. Very hardcore I understand why you only train twice a week lol.

You would get a better response if you posted this in the correct forum, try the members cycle results forum.
