i am a big fan of the ab roller, for those who are sceptical or think it is a womanly exercise i challenge you to do a standing ab roll and tell me that it isn't a great exercise.

Whatever you do, make sure to use weight plates as well and increase resistance by using heavier plates. What's the point of doing 1000 reps if the resistance is always the same Enurance perhaps.
    No resistance = no growth.

It depends on how much weight and how many reps. You can use weight with HIGH reps, faster burn.

The only two ab exercises I do are hanging leg raises and bicycles.

I do the hang legs with a 20 or 25 pound Dbell between my feet to get the abs into that ravioli shape. I concentrate on making the moments slow and delibrate going up and back down. God...they burn just thinking about it.

The important low abs are overlooked by many. I like leg raises on an incline board with my head at the top. Grab the top of the board with your hands and begin to raise the hip and pull your legs back to get that feel in the low abs. This will give a more complete ab look rather than an overtrained bloaty upper ab look.

You only want to use moderate weights for your abs nothing over a 25lb plate or you will thickin your midsection especially on your obliques. The only time I use any weight is on hanging leg raises. Hold a 20lb dumbbell between ur feet and feel the burn baby

about a year ago i posted this. After learning how to train, diet, and maintain my body better, I believe hanging leg raises are the best ab work out if you have to pick only one other than having sex lol

I just read an artical, i thought it was from around this site....

but it basicly said all ab work exersizes basicly do the same thing. The abs only have one central attachment and ever exersize hits the same parts.

I'll try to dig it up, I had a hard time understanding it but it made sense when you read it.

There's so many angels to hit the a**omen,For me there's 2 basic movements that can really hit the abs real good.1st seated crunches 2nd hanging leg raises. But you've also got the obliques and intercostals to have a fully developed panny washing a**omen.

Hanging leg raises for sure. Done properly they really stand alone. Play around with them ie twisting to the sides , straight to the front etc. and you will not be disappointed.
Of course saying all that if you have a wack of lard covering your mid section they might look good but you aint gonna see them.

    Squats
    Deadlifts

Best ab exercises hands down. Nothing makes my abs tight as hell like a set of deads or squats.

Diet is not an ab exercise lol... he asked for ab exercises.

Now if your looking to see your abs, then yes obviously diet and cardio is the way to do it. HIIT cardio with a strict diet for 4 months will give u abs.

NOT JOKING. It hurts, it's about 15 years old, and it's the most chessy video I've ever seen but it makes me cry like a baby. I challenge you to do this EOD!!!
