Staggered resistance and/or Run/Jog...alternating has great results for burning fat and "primo" cardio training.
^^^^ agreed it is more intense
I wouldn't worry about how many cals you have burned, worry about the right intensity to burn fat not muscle.
220 - age x .7 =
how about 30 mins on the treadmill doing sprint intervals.
Agree completely, intensity is far more important. I would try to find a good balance between high resistance at a decent speed.
Did you mean (220-age) x .7 ? This way f I am 27 I will have to stay in 135 range.Originally Posted by perfectbeast2001
If it's 220 - age x .7 my HR should be 201![]()
yeah the one with the brackets lol..... 135 is right
Cals burned is not the answer, its burning fat from the fat stores.

IMO, you should do intervals and if you want kick up the resistance on high for a change of pace periodically, your body gets used to cardio just like weight training and should change things up a bit as well too.

Exactly, if you want to burn more calories.. just have more self control and don't consume them in the first place..Originally Posted by FaizakaFez
In my defense of this thread .. it was started originally on jan 4 ... and I've learned calories burned doesn't mean anything![]()
