    Some kind advice please

Heres the deal, I am new to this forum and Love what I see so far. I know what my goals are and I am looking for some advise. I am 24 and I weigh about 170 and around 5'10". I think I am pretty skinny and I have 2 main questions 1ST: I have a small "gut" what is the best way to get rid of it, cuz all the sit-ups in the world are not doing it. The 2ND: question is, is it even possible for me to pick up both size and weight?

1: All the situps in the world cannot get rid of gut. Cardio and diet does it. You cannot spot reduce. It has to come from all over the body.

    2. Yes. Eat right lift hard and do some cardio to keep fat off.

diet and cardio is the answer to both questions. What does your diet look like? how many cals are you eating ED, how many grams of carbs? If you do not know then that is your first problem. A well planned diet is an absolute must. Along with cardio (to get rid of the gut) you will be able to shed the fat then adjust diet and build some serious size.

the answer to both of your questions in the same answer. Diet, you can do all the sit ups you want, but spot reduction fat just doesnt work. Diet is the only thing that will get rid of that "gut", Second Diet and the right ratio of protien, carbs and fat will absolutely add mass!! Good luck and start in the diet section and go from there, You could be the best lifter in the world with form and reps and negatives, and supersets. If your diet is on you wont grow. Its like having the best engine for horsepower and torque in the world but guess what, It doesnt run without fuel! Food=Fuel. Good luck and welcome!

Ah, unfortunately I took looks over culinary dedication, so my missus fails me there. Dunno whether I'd trust her to bother weighing stuff either!

Use the stickies in the diet section. If you want to place fat loss as a priority then use the cutter. If you want a slow fat loss combined with slow muscle gains use the lean mass one. Your goals suggets you would be wise to steer clear of the bulker.

You will need to tinker with the mathematics, though given your bodyweight.

if you take a look at "things to consider" link in my sig it gives some diet pointers. Be prepared to sit down for a good couple of hours sorting a diet out. It will be the most productive 2 hours you will ever spend when it comes to building muscle!!
