If you are going for size do some shrugs. Heavy BB and then some DBs. That is all I can think of. It works and works well. There aren't that many exercises.

heavy shrugs.....traps routine for me
12x135 warm up
10x225
8x 275
then either :
15x315 or 225 till failure, usually 25 at this time
heavy dead lifts help too along with upright rows....thats about it for traps

barbell from waiste to chin lifts...think they're upright rows i dunno i just do em..and when ur doing lat pulls from a horizontal position instead of focusing on squeezing ur lats on retraction, pull higher up on the chest and flex your traps instead, dumbell shrugs, really experiment with common exercises and just focusing your traps instead of the norm...ex...ive actually gotten good lat workouts by benchpressing, its all in how u focus and on what

One thing I noticed that really brought my traps out was........
Deadlifts.
I actually had missed barbell shrugs for a month or so and my traps were steadily growing. Only thing that stayed consistent was heavy deads.
IMO traps don't need much. If you want after deadlifts, maybe throw 2-3 sets of heavy barbell shrugs in front or behind.
Then again, people say this about arms and nothin works for me Whatever your genetics will allow.

I did a beauty yesterday. Do dumbell raises but lean your chest against an incline bench that is angled at about 80 degrees also one knee on the bench and raise the dumbells as high as you can, then superset that with barbell raises. My traps feel like somebody is sticking a knife i them right now

I do wide grip rows as well as shrugs.
Just grab the lat pulldown bar and hook it to the rowing cable and row away. Works like a charm.

try single arm shrugs with bumbells. range of motion/contraction is way more than barbell. Keep your chin down when do them you'll feel the burn

Deadlift, cleans, shrugs. You don't need more.
