    Psyching myself out?!?!?!?

    ok heres the issue.

When doing heavy lifts (bench, squat, DL,) just about any lift where you can really go heavy, I'v noticed that when I warm up and then jump to the big wieghts, the sudden huge weight increase kinda psychs me out. I usually get the lift done but there is a second of doubt when I first start the lift. But if I jump by say 60lbs evry set I'm really tired by the time I get to my max poundages.

I know I'm gonna catch a ration of sh*t about being a pu**y and all that but I'm wondering if this happens to other people, and what I can do about it.

I'm pretty sure Iv missed afew personal bests cause of this bullsh*t.

    Thanks guys,
    Let the comments begin!!!

I used to do that. I'd have to say its 100% mental. If you say you can't do it, you can't. You gotta go into it thinking "lightweight" lol kinna like Ronnie does. That has actually helped me. Just go into it thinking its 135 when you get hyped to lift it.
