Thread: 2 or 3 Off Days

2 or 3 Off Days
Right now im lifting 5 days a week with 2 days off. I know its a pretty common split, but would it be more beneficial for me to take 3 days off? I have a good diet and im fairly young. Right now it looks like this...
Monday Chest
Tuesday Back
Wednesday Off
Thursday Shoulders
Friday Arms
Saturday Legs
Sunday Off
How many off days do you have per week?

I take three days off a week. When I first started training I could do a lot more volume because I was week. Now that I can lift some decent weight.(For me at least) I have to have three days off. I do this split and its just right.
MON: Either shoulders tris/chest bis/ or Bis Tris and forearms W/15 min of cardio
Tues: Quads/calves
Wens: OFF including cardio
Thurs: Either Chest Bis/ or Shoulders tris whatever didnt get done mon.
Fri: Cardio and light abs.
sat: Back Hams calves.
Sun: Light cardio in am.

I workout EOD. So I get a rest day after each workout. I do this to ensure that my CNS has enough time to heal so that my muscles can start healing. The CNS must heal itself first before it can repair muscles. Ive been doing this for 8 months now and its been great.

this is my training routine i find this works pretty good for me
mon chest/bi
tues back/tri
wed off
thurs shoulder/forearm/calves
fri quads/hams
sat off
sun off
