wouldnt that be killer overtrain for your shoulders?
wouldnt that be killer overtrain for your shoulders?
I did it for a couple workouts and it just isnt worth it. If you want to vary your training split you could do something like back/shoulders, chest/traps, arms
its good to switch it up im runnin chest and shoulders
well, it all depends on how you do it... ive been cutting out all the little bs excersises that dont do much for me, and im hitting chest every 3 days ...once with tris the other with shoulders
example sunday:
4-6 rep range- train to failure
flat DB press.. 2 working sets
declinde BB.. 2 working sets
flys.. 2-3 working sets
tri workout
Thursday:
8-12 rep range, short of failure
incline BB press.. 2-3 sets
shoulder press.. 2-3 sets
incline fly.. 3 sets
lateral raises.. 2-3 sets
For me personally doing chest and shoulders doesnt work out too good because whichever i do first ends up making those muscles too pumped and tight and that makes the second part cause me injuries. I now add shoulders to leg day that way there is no conflict.
i do shoulders with traps and do chest on its own day with a little ab work

If i have done chest then go to do shoulders, my shoulders dont feel good and are already sore, especially dumbell shoulder press, not so much the barbell.
Although I dont enjoy reverse grip pull downs for back with sore shoulders.
I am yet to figure out where to put shoulders. lol
im trying to get my shoulders stronger what the max days a week recommended to work out shoulders.
