It will be ok as long as the soreness from doing biceps on Thursday doesn't affect your back workout on Saturday.

You seem to like a 7 day routine, huh? Remember that rest is very important. Why not do your pushing on one day (chest and tri's) and pulling on another day(back and bi's) and then take a couple of days off? Give this a shot:

    Mon - Chest & Triceps
    Tue - Abs
    Wed - Back & Biceps
    Thu - Off
    Fri - Traps & Shoulders
    Sat - Abs, Legs
    Sun - Off

Done that before, it's a good split.

My only thought is that I don't like the idea of training delts one day and then trying to train Triceps the next day. When you press for delts you GONNA train triceps as a synergist. Depending on the volume and intensity it may make your tricep workout suffer the next day.

It seems as though alot of peeps neglect their calves

people you should be training calves at least twice a week if not more. Next time your in the gym take a second and look at the people in there. Notice there might be many guys with nice upper body's, but neglect there legs, don't be one of those.
Your upper body gets trained inadvertantly every exercise therefore you gotta make up with training your legs harder to keep those in unisen...why am I lecturing you? Do what you want but I think people look silly with huge uppers and no lower's

    thanks guys
it is so tough finding what really works well. i always want to kill myself at the gym (safely)! but like last week i couldn't because of soreness. i find that even if one body part is sore and you try to train a completely different one, your training still suffers. maybe its a mental thing. this doesn't happen on a cycle though, right?? i will soon be doing one and i am hoping i won't have to worry about soreness or overtraining during it. thanks again.

    My routine:

    Day 1: Chest
    Day 2: Back, abs
Day 3: Legs (calves, quads, etc)
    Day 4: Bi's, Tri's
    Day 5: Shoulders, Traps, Abs

I usually do 30 mins of cardio consisting of 2-3 miles 2-4 days a week. On the weekends I play basketball (I find it much easier to do cardio in a sport rather than just running...) or go to Jiu-jitsu practice.

Yeah but I can't get my jeans over my calves NOW! I mean after the implants there isn't much room of improvement! LOL (not really)
