I am 20 years old. when i was 18 i tore both my hamstrings during my senior year in football. since then i stayed away from legs for a little while. Latly Ive been tryin to get back into legs. I start with squats and they feel fine. then i go to leg extensions wich doesnt bother them at all oviously. I then proceed to hamstrings and it kills. Now, i tend to shy away from doing hamstrings wich i know is bad. I know shying away is bad, but i would like to know whats happening when i do that. Also, does anyone have any ideas to make my hammys stronger so that I dont feel as inclined to shy away from them.
