    Neck Workout

How many of you work out your necks also. I just started doing neck exercise, and its sore as hell. I'm now tlakin about shrugs(traps). I'm sayin gettin your neck wider. I do resistance exercises pushing head up ,down , and side to side. Any one else do this , if so maybe you knwo how often to work it out.And a few extra tips.

head harness is nice. I bought a nice leather one a few years back for around $35 I think. Heavy deadlifts, shrugs and the harness will bring your neck up in a hurry. I've always thought that a thick neck was a true sign of a serious lifter.

My old man always told me (With the exception of hardcore bodybuilders) your arms should never be bigger in diameter than your neck!! I just looks ridculous when you see the guy in the gym with the weight belt and 20 inch arms with a pencil neck...just makes me laugh
