Currently at 228 from 260 and my bench has gone down about 40lbs and other upper body pushing exercises
yet my clean has stayed the same and my deadlift has gone up![]()

When I cut, I always lose strength in my chest and typically no where else. I dont get it. Fvcking sucks.
not a lot...keep most my gains. I only lower kcals about 500 below maintenance though...thus losing fat ultra slow

I think that losing strength in the chest/pushing movements is probably cus,as people diet and do cardio,it is known that people loose weight from their neck,shoulders,chest and arms before anywhere else!!

Try placing your cheat day the day before your chest day. Should help. It has with me. Those carbs get me pumpin' the next day.

When you drop weight you usually lose a bit of strength. don't worry it will level off.
diff stuf
Im not working now and I really havent lost much strength at all...
I typically lose strength on my chest..and my legs the most
My deadlift will also usually go up too...
Yeah, you will - it's so hard to lose fat but not any muscle.
Also if I remember from my school days,
power=mass x force
At least chins get easier!
i find deads and rows a bitch on back day.....
I allways do deads on back day. It's like wokin from the base up.
Me too....But isnt that because youre hiting you back on back day?Originally Posted by S.P.G
