    Leg workouts and running

I run everyday and I was wondering how and when to workout my legs (upper and lower). Should I do it before the run? After?

and also, if my muscle is sore even after 48 hours, should I work it out still or should I take another day off?

Lift before you run, which muscles are still sore? Bigger muscles need more rest than smaller ones.

I used to run five miles a day and do heavy squatting on top of that. I always used to do my leg workouts BEFORE the running. I did them after the running a few times and was much weaker. Without a doubt, IMO, if the muscle is sore, even after 48 hours, wait till it is not sore.
