This should be a good thread if the people im thinking of contribute but here is my .02
I think people should try to go a bit below parralel to all the way down. Basically the lower the better.
I know there are many that say its to hard on the knees but I disagree. as long as your knees dont go past your toes and your knees dont cave in on the ascent you can do atg squats or close to sucessfully.
what do others think?
while im at it, Here is the reasons
1. You actually build more kinetic energy the lower you go. This will help you drive the weight up more efficently
2. you recruit larger muscles ie hams and glutes which contribute to the theroy on a natural release of gh and test.
i like to go as deep as possible depending on the weight but i at least hit parallel.
I always go about and inch or 2 below parallel.

i would rather use a little less weight and go all the way down...seems better on my knees
