would changing up your routine more often say every 2 weeks be more benificial for gains?? And say you had 2 routines would 2 be enougth to keep shocking your muscles??
Example:

Tuesday- arms + abs
Wednesday- legs
thursday- shoulders
friday- back
sat and sun rest.and doing cardio 5x week.
Example 2= monday-chest and tris

Thursday-shoulders and abs
friday-back and bis
sat and sun rest. and cardio 5x week.
All input appreciated.

My personal opinion is that you should change up your routine about every 3 months. Obviously, growth comes from progressive resistance training, so technically the change from workout to workout in the 3 months should be poundage or reps.

My routine changes a little bit all the time. After I find some usefull advice I try it out.
Are you changing weights, reps, sets and exercises or just the days you perform them?
