working out while on the road!!!!!!!!!

lately ive been taking on more responsibility at work ( not my fuken choice ) anyway this means traveling alot more, and it also means fuken up my training .

    a couple of ???????s

I normaly rest on sat and sun! Knowing that i have to travel on the Monday, would me training on the sat and sun work??while not adjusting my routine, apart from the days.

Anyone else have this problem and what do you do??

Any routine i could use in a hotel room, with no weights??

    Or should i just rest??

Most hotels have a weight room that you could make due with. Also, some hotels will give you a free pass to workout at a local gym if you ask them.

What I used to do when I travelled, was to call around to the hotels in the city I would be travelling to and see if they had an agreement with an off-site gym (fitness center) for the guests to use.

You will be surprised alot of hotels give passes to local gyms for guests to use for free. You may have to show your room key at the gym.

If that didn't work, I would call around to the local gyms (gold's, powerhouse, ymca, bally's, 24hr fitness, etc) and ask if they had any agreements with local hotels for their guests to workout for free.

One of those two methods always worked unless I was staying in B.F.E. (Bum Fvck Eygpt)

If there is no gyms available, get yourself some of those rubber bands and do some isokinetic exercises.

Pushups with the band added for more resistance

Bicep Curls, standing up with the band under your feet.

Squats, with the band under your feet and the handles in your hands, then squat down

    Lunges, using body weight

    Calf extensions using body weight

    Sit ups, crunches for abs

There is plenty more, just do a search for "power bands" on yahoo or google.

bands bands and more bands! get different resistances and you can do a full body workout if you like, i dint like the idead of bands at first, but they work better than u think they would. plenty of places carry them. they are rleatively chaep, very light and take up just about no space in your lugage
