    Why doesn't look the same

    I have been focusing on my chest, the cut,profile midddle line..etc for weeks now, and i got to the point where i am happy with what i look "right after the workout, and %70 after the shower, and i fvking hate it when i get home... and depression in the morning" i am getting bigger fuller etc, but the looks nothing like what i look right after it...

    any suggestions how to at least good the next day?

    im no expert.. but im pretty sure its almost impossible, you get a sick pump from working out (esp. if you use any suplements noxplode or something) and once they wear off, and your pump dies down, your not as big..

    this happens to my chest, back, legs.. i think it happens to everyone?

    but i dont look nothing like it the next day... I am in the middle of my cycle... its like two twin brothers, one that lifts(after workout) and one that just does push ups here and there( the next morning).. even though i do feel sore for 3-4 days..size is not my issue..its the looks

    i often have that deflated feeling,its very frustrating.but the pump is something you cant constantly maintain.also remember that water is lost in the night so you need to rehydrate.

    dont worry it happens to most of us.

    Give it time and when you actually develop muscle on your chest you'll be happy in the morning

    If your chest is that small and weak why did you start a cycle anyhow?
    Seems like you lack any kind of base the way you're talking.

    welcome to bodybuilding,

    this thought of "If I could just look like this, Id be set" never goes away,

    you'll get there though just dont forget that the way you look today was the goal for yourself 1, 2, 10, etc years ago...........

    thanks brother,
    i started in high school as 180lbs, saying "man when i hit 200" then in college was "man here comes 220" i am at 240 now, and i think 260 is barelly enough...

    but what to do to stay hard? any anabolic solution? any specific routine... i am at 180lbs (each arm) dumbell bench press.. and i do the twist at the end, and do go pretty low, no help 8 times.. i usually do it first, or incline the same way...
    cables and all.. i have been lifting heavy for 3 years now.. and as i said before i have been focusing really hard on my chest from every angle for the past 4-5 weeks...
    is it just time?
    because till now i was really in to powerlifting..... so another year? meanwhile just dont look in the mirror shirtless?

    I'm not really concerned with how much you weigh etc, the fact remains that your chest is out of proportion from the rest of your body and I hope to be able to help you.

    Form is key when working chest as well as a good routine that will stimulate muscle growth without secondary muscles taking over.
    Look up some of my chest routines I've posted in the past for some examples of lifts etc, they might help?

    Again, I still stick by the fact that without a proper base and descent symmetry you shouldn't cycle for the fact that it'll only cause your body to fall out of proportion further if you're currently lifting incorrectly.

    Read a couple of those threads and lemme know if they help.
    Posting your current routine would be helpful to see what might be going wrong too?

    Well this is my routine,

    i start with

    bench press, or incline press (only dumbells, due to the wrist injury)

    warm up set of 20 rep usually very light weight 30-40lbs
    * 80lbs 12rep
    * 90lbs 12
    * 105 8
    * 130 8
    * 150 6-8
    if feel good 170-180

    if started flat then switch to incline ( alternate weekly)

    continue from 110
    130
    150 8 times each

    flyes, either the smith machine or cables (alternate weekly) 4-5 sets all out, its 280lbs on the machine 10-12reps

    and then dips,
    i do weighted dips 4 sets of 15 with 45 around my weist

    eat meals with carb every 2-3 hours to keep your muscles filed up with the glikogen, and on the morning when you wake up first thing you do is drink like 50g of carbo, or vitargo

    rice carb? or pasta carbs?

    If you're pressing 180lb dumbbells with your stats I'm sure it has something to do with your form which is hindering your chest development.
    It's too complicated to explain via forum so check into proper form for flat and incline DB presses for a better explanation.

    I will look in to it, this is not my regular workout that i have been doing for years or even longer time, i just started this 6 weeks ago, as i started my cycle, and the look that i get afterwards is %100 what i want... i am very very strict on my form and reps, but again its been only 6 weeks since i got serious...
    my real problem is why "deflation" ....
    since i am on my cycle, is there anything else that i could add just to enhance the looks?

    in my opinion if you keep hitting it hard in a few weeks you will look like you want today but it will take a few more weeks to look like you want to look in a few weeks make sense ?

    what if u did a cycle but only workedout chest for the duration of the cycle maybe twice a week, then u could grow your chest into a more proportional look with the rest of your body

  20. #20
    Or lead to overtraining and stunt his chest development even further.

    It's either genetics or the fact that his form is off which in turn leads to the muscle not being stimulated properly.

    could do that, i guess...
    but i am on the cycle to get all around mass and stregth, i do
    chest
    back
    legs
    arms
    shoulders
    core (all around body light weight high rep all body parts, not heavier then 20-30lbs)
    total shut down, no cardio no going out no anything.... just relex,
    back
    chest
    legs
    shoulders
    arms
    core
    total shut down
    legs
    chest
    arms
    shoulders
    back
    core
    total shut down
    and so on... never the same exersize patern never the same workout pattern...
    i have been shocking my body every week going all out for past 5 weeks
    i do rowing every morning 6-8 miles daily (just a hobby, i have been doing it for 6 years)
    i do watch what i eat but really am not too crazy, but never the less no junk food, soda candy pizza etc...

    i went from 219 to 242, and now around 237.....

    i dont have a digital cam.. but would like to take some critics on what have i become...
    genetics could be the fact, both my parents are below 5'11 and some what stumpy old school european built, where i have been pushed to swim since age 4...and got to 6'4.... but always have been lean and never really bulky, till about 3 years ago

    agreed, and I would consider lifting just chest during a cycle a huge waste of money and gear it was just an idea
