    Thumbs up 300 the movie training regiment

    http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercis...src=RSS_PUBLIC

    Could this workout combined with a good diet help someone really lean out like the guys in that movie, man what set of abs and cut up bodies they had in that movie.

    Seems like in most gyms now circuit training is becoming very popular, its good cardio with weight training.

    I have to give this a shot since i got injured in the back i just cant lift heavy anymore.

    * 25 pull-ups
    * 50 deadlifts at 135 pounds
    * 50 push-ups
    * 50 box jumps with a 24-inch box
    * 50 "floor wipers" (a core and shoulders exercise at 135 pounds)
    * 50 "clean and press" at 36 pounds (a weight-lifting exercise)
    * 25 more pull-ups -- for a total of 300 reps

    There's no rest between movements

    God damnnnnnnnnnn!! That'd be sure to cut anyone up quickly!

    So would this be a good fat loss workout doing it about 3 times a week for the average lifter or should the workout have reduced reps.

    not at all.given the intensity energy will be obtained from blood sugar, not from fat. To get enegfy from the fat you should walk fast pace, 40 min first thing in the morning or after lifting.
    No workout will cut you. You can do 3000 abs/day and it would do nothing. Diet and low intensity cardio will

    Im soooo fed up with hearing about how great the guys in 300 look. They look average IMO. They followed a good diet (which we should all be doing) and did some basic training. Woohoooo. they got abs. Its not rocket science ppl!!!!

    agreed.

    hell, beast couldve been in 300. Just eat clean, and workout.
    You dont need all this floor wiping bullshit.

    And FYI, in the movie, if you couldnt tell, alot, and I mean alot of their bodies were computer brushed. Im not saying they didnt have nice abs, but nothing the average joe can't achieve.

    So, ev1....get off the Spartans balls already.

    This is definitely true. Every frame in that movie was computer enhanced in one way or another. There's no way they could find enough actors and extras with abs like that.

    I think a lot of the 6-packs were digitally enhanced... they've done that in lots of movies before. However, I definitely don't think that they look average. Average is average, and just having a 6-pack alone makes you above average lol.

    Sorry beast but i disagree, i have the type of body that retains water no matter what, i tried everything low carb diets, and more i still cannot see my abs.

    When i was younger i weighted 142 pounds at 5 feet 10 and i had that frustrating layer of water covering my abs then GRRRRRRR.

    My massage therapist studied a lot and he tells me that my abs might be deeper then most people so even if i train then they will get rock hard but i will never be able to see them well defined.

    SUCKS
