There are more than one reasons why you have ab cramps. Sugar in sports drinks can cause ab/stomach cramps. If you drink a sports drink of some kind, try going a week or so without it and see if the cramps stop. How much potassium is in your pills? High levels of potassium, like above 18000 miligrams can disrupt muscle contraction. If your supplement has high amounts, or semi-high amounts, and then you actually get enough or high amounts in your normal food, it could be a cause. RDA got potassium is 4700mg. A banana and 8oz cup of yogurt has like 1000. Plus if you eat baked potatoes, spinach, orange juice, baked beans, milk, etc, those all contain at least 400mg of potassium. prob dont need the supplement. Are you killing your abs? Cramps can also come from a buildup of lactic acid or not warming up enough. Check your calcium and magnesium intake which also affect muscle contraction. Also of course, water can be a reason...

    Hope this helps.
