    Morning vs Evening

What do you guys think is there a difference between working out in morning vs working out in the evening/.night? My schedule only permits me to work out in the early morning so never tried out during evening or night.

I always workout around 6 week days. If its weekend around 2 or so...Id actually prefer around 2 ed, for some reason my workouts are better then.

agreed, 2 oclock is prime time. During the week I train in the morning and on the weekends I train at around 2. I am much too sluggish at night to train.

I am really big on routine, if I go at a certain time I have to stick with it. Right now I go at 4:30, on the weekend I tried to go earlier and I am not all there. It's like my body knows what's coming at 4:30 and starts pumpin' me up, I go to early or too late I miss that prime time and my work out suffers. I have heard that mornings are better because of higher test levels(if your natural) and it will raise your metabolism for the rest of the day. For me, like I said, it's routine and I love it. On my days off from lifting at around 4:30 I start feeling real jumpy and have to do something to burn off the adrenaline.

I agree... My thinking is very similar. I am very militant in my approach to training. I eat, train, shit, sleep atthe same time every single day. It's like im a phucking robot.

I prefer to train around 9pm at night. The gym is low volume traffic around that time. I hate the blabber mouths that want to hang around and yap your ears off.

i go at 6 every day except sat and sunday and i love it. early morning workouts dont work for me bc it takes 2 long for me to really wake up and do heavy enough weight to feel like i got a good workout. and it leaves me tired the entire day. i like hittin it hard at 6 and it makes sleep wonderful..

my time is usually 2pm,i find imo that i am more charged up for the workout in the afternoon as opposed to training in the morning, this due to the extra calories/carbs in my system from the extra meals that i have obv consumed up till 2pm.................

i prefer evening, i think its important to have a few solid meals in you for the energy required..right now i'm on a cutting diet so i'm waking up at 430 am everyday to do cardio and then back at the gym at 4pm to weight train
