Building Muscle at the Center of Your Chest?

There's a gap between pecs at the center of my solarplexus. It's not much but it still leaves my chest plate exposed. Most peoples' pecs usually come together.

I've been trying to find routines that'll help narrow this space. Been doing butterflies, lots of dips, and some decline bench. It's helping some. Anyone have any suggestions?

i do a dumbell close grip press that really contracts the pec muscles that way.

lie on a flat bench or slight incline
put dumbells together palms facing each other.( if you have hex shaped dumbells it helps).
    then press.
i usually do this a the beginning or the end or both. i get a killer pump from this when i focus on my chest.
you should try it. Good luck!

Pretty much the only way to go is bigger pecs in general.

    anything decline will help
the best would be flies with the cables in the lower position, while standing, bring your right arm across your body in the "upper cut" motion over your left shoulder while keeping your arm as straight as possible. hard to explain. ill try to find pics....repeat with left arm

Yes genetics help but I would think close grip bench and decline would attack the area between the pecs and solar plexus.

I agree with Dudeman and Haro. You muscles have connection points and you cannot change that short of surgery. Your best bet is to try and put as much mass a possible on your chest.
