cardio on empty stomach works very well for a lot of people when trying to lose bodyfat

the number of cal given on the machine will be a ballpark figure..different for everyone...I wouldn't worry about it too much...just keep your heart rate in the target zone for maximum fat loss

cals on those machines mean nothing, they are completely flawed due to the huge number of factors involved in how many clas you will have burnt, as stated it is an individual thing. Concentrate on keeping your HR at 65% and the time you are on the machine, those are the important factors.

what do you mean 8pm on an empty stomach, hope you mean AM or that you work mids and 8 pm is when you wake up.......

    edit:

if you enter your ht, wt, age in the machine it ill give you an estimate, but it really dosent matter what it says, as PB said before its all in hrt rate plus the length of time.

it like people who constantly weigh themselves, that is the most inaccurate way to gage your process,
