    Max OT question

Ive just read week 1 and its workout chart that says the listed sets do not include the warmup sets this kind of confuses me.
How many warmup sets am i soposed to do and with what amount of reps? And then if my understanding is correct i would do all the listed sets to possitive failure is that correct?

So mabe 1 or 2 warmup sets with 30 second rest and then the listed amount of heavy sets with the longer breaks?

any help would be greatly appriciated, thanks

I am not sure which workout that is but generally 1 or 2 warmup sets with lighter weight and higher reps would work. And yes you need much longer rest between sets after warmup.

ive done max ot, similuar to DC.

what I did was warm up as much as you need to, they basicaly tell you not to overdo it though, there thoughts were that most lifters warm up with to many reps.

here is an example of what Id do for bench press.

    1. Bar onlyx10-20 reps
    2.95lbsx12 reps
    3.135x12 reps.
4.155x5 reps you could call these "feel sets" there still a warm up
5.185x1-2 reps once again a "Feel set"
1st working set with 195-205 etc etc..
