Alot of people do it because your glycogen stores are d e pleted after lifting weights. I like to do my cardio in the AM and weights in the PM.

Similar concept to doing cardio on an empty stomach. JC hit the nail on the head with energy ***letion.

I was, quasi, forced into doing it due to a busy schedule for a couple months last summer and noticed similar results, as to AM cardio. Since then, when I do cardio, it is always PWO or some high intensity work on non-workout days. I just make sure to have a PWO shake ready and waiting for when I'm finished.

    1. cause you use glycogen during lifting, by doing cardio first you could have a possiablity of burning up your fuel source, hence feeling to tired/weak to preform.

    2. Heavy lifting increase the natural release of test and HGH, by doing cardio after lifting you can take advantage of these hormones floating around in the body to use as a natural fat burner.

Old school train of thought is as follows:

***lete glycogen stores with intense weight training which in turn leaves you nothing to burn but fat when doing cardio afterwards.
    ***No source checks!!!***

Never thought about it that way but it sure makes a lot of sense

P.S. During the last 2-3 weeks of my cutting cycle, I always do both AM and PWO cardio.
