    Beach Body

i posted this in the wrong forum before sorry... but here:

I know this forum is more a bodybuilding forum than anything else, but all other forums mostly are dead and bodybuilding too.

I just wanted to know if I can get a solid workout plan for a beach body. I'm inexperienced with lifting ... at least not strength training..I'm currently 195 lbs 5'11'' around 15% BF. .

I'd like to get a solid chest back bis and tris obviously....abs would be fantastic and obviously like a college chump that I am I don't wish to work my legs as much as everything else but I am more than willing to try whatever workout plan I can be put on

its been a long time since ive been on a diet and solid workout plan and it'd be nice to look good on the beach for once...thanks

couldn't agree more. Bodybuilding//weight training in general is a lifestyle, I don't care if you say you "bodybuild", "powerlift", etc they all have things in common(lifestyle). And your talking about if need be you're "willing" to work legs??? Do you know how important legs are for overall body development???

Ok Ok, I agree with what has already been said so no need to bust your balls, however I can simpathize that not everyone wants to look 1 week out from the stage and some of us just want to look more "mainstream" look (yuck, it gives me chills to think about looking "normal")

so here is what id do, I guess....

    Mon:Chest/Bis*/Tris*
    Cardio PWO

    Tues:Legs$

    Wens:Cardio/abs

    Thurs:Back/Bis
    Cardio PWO

    Fri:Shoulders/Tris
    Cardio PWO

    Sat:Cardio/abs

    Sun:Off~

*- do only one exercise with a mod heavy/light weight for 3 sets in the 8-14 rep range for a solid pump, do more volume heavier weight on the back/shoulder days.

$- since this program is a beach body program you can forget about squats and puking during leg press, why, cause you just bought those awesome pink/lime green hurley board shorts that go past your knees, in fact if you want, this would be a great time to do chest and arms again.

~- If your tanning salon is closed on sundays then do Sat cardio/abs workout on sunday and tan on saturday..

I think you guys should stop being such pretentious arseholes and just give the kid a hand. It's not a crime to want an attractive body so lay the **** off him. He's obviously new to the sport which he clearly stated so there's no reason to hang shit on him for not being too keen to work legs (seriously, who ever walked into the gym on their first day of training ever and thought "**** i'd like to do some serious squats!"?)

Give him a hand to start, get him on his way, then if he wants he can learn some more.

Sick of the pretentious ****s on this forum.

No worries bro, the guys on hear get a little out of hand somtimes
Its all test making them go crazy, just ignore it

As for a workout plan I would go with what MFT posted. Its a pretty good one. as for a diet, hed on over to the diet forum and READ the sticky at the top. Its called somthing like "all about cutting diets" or somthing. learn that sh*t, make a diet, have them critique it, and boom ur all good.

goodluck bro, and once again dont worry about the guys here. Theres a lot of people here who dont want to be body builders.
