Thread: empty stomach cardio

    Talking empty stomach cardio

I understand that a lot of people who have a difficult time dropping fat while maintaining a quality diet and cardio schedule notice a dramatic change when they start doing it first thing in the morning before breakfast. I've never been one for doing any exercise with low blood sugar, but am willing to give it a try. My question is: Is it true that you run a strong risk of chewing up your muscle mass because your body will dip into the lean mass for energy stores? Or is that just a little exagerated? Thanks!

Top right hand corner there is a "SEARCH" feature that works really good. You'll find lots of info on this subject.

To give you a quick answer... it ***ends on how high your BF is.

i dont think bf level has anything to do with muscle loss with am cardio. i would assume it has alot more to do with training intensity and duration.
