Some things that have helped me out are stretching constantly during my workouts (betwenn sets & excercises). I also stretch for about 5 minutes every night before I go to sleep. You might want to take a yoga class or two, you'll get a great stretch and learn plenty about becoming limber. hope that helps.

But all kinds of martial arts gets you limber and flexiable.

The bands have many uses: speed, strength and, flexability training and rehab work as well. For info on using the bands check out the powerlifting forum or read articles about chains and bands and an article " accomodating resistance" at www.elitefts.com

Yoga!
This stuff is very difficult. My wife talked me into checking my macho attitude and trying it with her. It really helped my flexibility and made my muscles feel more relaxed.
I don't think anything is as effective as this. The instructor was crzy flexible!!!

Bruce Lee used to stretch whenever he could, throughout the entire day. Boy was he limber! I remember seeing photos of him jumping high to kick a lightbulb out of the ceiling and he was able to get his leg straight up so that his thigh rested on his abdominals and his calves on his chest; all of this of course while he was standing up!
warm up stretch........during workout stretch...........after cool down stretch.......protein shake
peace dude
