How many times to train each bodypart per week

Could some one please advise me on this. I am a little confused. I only train once per week just now but have been told that this is not enough.

i think it ***ends on your own body and training age.. if you just started you'd wanna worry about overtraining so stick with once a week.. (intensity counts as well)

if not you'd wanna increase the volume/frequency slightly (maybe only for your lagging/better bodyparts or everything). i feel that's the way to go because after you have trained for a while your body will be better at recovering.

sometimes overtraining is overrated so you really have to see if your body has the ability to recover from the added volume/frequency.. that's what matters in my opinion

It is enough, You just have to make sure Your intensity is up there and all exercises are performed in the right/strict form, plus You NEED to focus on the muscle You are working out everytime. Mind-muscle connection.

You will have to find a routine that works best for YOU, by trying different things, see what works.

    Good luck

I agree, once a week is enough as long as you are actually training the muscle seriously.

It all ***ends on how well your body can recover. Some people can go twice a week, while others can only go once a week.

My body is very very odd and can do twice a week at certain times of the year, and at others I can only train once a week.
