Who Benches 4+?
Yeah i know... put it in the weightlifting forum tai. WEL **** you!~ lol, the lounge gets more hits and has a higher population so anyone that messes w/ this thread will get nailed w/ the ninja bloodflow reversal technique!
Anyways i just wanna see who all benches 4plates PLUS and how many times u can get 405 if u can do it at all.
no lying.. i will know and then i will sick DocSust on ya!
but tai i lift for looks .. not WEIGHT..
thats cute really, so if u have never benched 405 dont post it or say I KANT do it lol

The most I ever did was 425 or something like that. But I haven't been able to get back to that in several years as I have NO partner to spot my sorry ass and I would probably drop the weight on my head!!!

If 405 pounds is 180 kg(which I think it is) ive done it for 5 reps. But I am never able to keep the strenght I get from a big AAS cycle if I stay natty for to long afterwards

I hit the 400 club this past winter...due to elbow problems, I don't go for a max bench anymore for fear of a devastating elbow injury.

i tried 5plates injured pec..
waited 6months
TRIED IT AGAIN!
strained other pec
i give up

i have done single reps of 4 plates with small spot. i weighed 198 at the time. im 202 now, but im off so i just stick with repping 365 - 385

Me and barbell chest movements dont go at all. I always hurt my left pec, every time.

back a year or two ago i hit 415 for 3 reps. at 185lb weight. that was a big highlight for me. then not long after i was repping out 350ish and felt a strain in my pec, took time off and my chest hasnt been as strong since. lifting very heavy isnt a priority for me anymore.

Crap! You guys are strong. I have never even tried pushing more than 315...I guess I am a chicken...this is gonna be my goal: I want to bench 405 so I can post in this thread. I gotta go hit the gym...
To all you guys that can push 350 plus: Good work. That is freaking awesome. Especially if you are a bodybuilder and not really trying to be the strongest guy around...that is awesome.

Get it for 2 off cycle right now at 200-205lbs, hope to get 455 for 2 this october.

i rep 405 for 7-8 reps no spot and i get 455 for 4 and i have not tried 5 plates...maybe tonight this is good inspiration....i take camera....no pics bite webb in ass last time...lol...why is my ninja pic everywhere...

Never have I done that much. After i got my osteolysis I couldnt bench anything, had to stay with dumbells. The most I ever did flat bench was 365. Now i havent done it in ages and probabyl wont for a while. Dont really care much about benching that much if it means I am gonna injure myself again.

I did 405 for 2 sets of 5 today and my wife did 225 for for 2 I was impressed with her lifts....
she also did incline db press's with 70's for 2 sets of 8....

Damm tai your a strong dude.In my earliest days , I thought my chest was a weak point and wanted seriously to bring it up. At the same time, I knew that simply pounding it with the heaviest weights I could handle would be a waste of energy.I decided to attack the problem systematically and analytically, and the outcome was finding three or four effective exercises to address the specific areas that needed the most improvement.

basiaclly since i was.. 19 i went at nothing but heavy compound movents and nothing else.. granted the DEVELOPMENT of my muslces.. were .. poor.. my chest looks sloppy arms arent exactly FULL .. legs and back got some nice growth from it all though.. but the FUNNY thing is.. is that it seems now that i have transitioned from HEAVY shyt to LIGHT high-rep/volume my growth is INSANE.. i see my chest getting bigger and ronder every day.. it was like 6yrs of PREPPING to become a bb'r LOL (hell of a prep if u ask me) ><

i can almost deadlift 4 plates im stuck at 385
and bench 265 for 5-6 reps
