Can't straighten arms the day after curls

Every time I work biceps, the next day or 2 days afterwards, I can't straighten my arms all the way and it feels really sore in the area on my arm between the bicep and forearm (opposite side of my elbow)... in the spot where you get blood drawn

Is this normal? I have dealt with this for a few years, but I am getting tired of it. I want my actual bicep to feel sore, not my joint muscles/tendon (whatever its called)

Am I possibly extending too far on curls? How can I train so that the peak of my bicep feels dead, not my joint.

That's completely normal, I had the same problem...I was in so much pain I actually asked a doctor about it. He said it's built up lactic acid, which causes the muscle to tighten.

The remedy, stretch before and after your workout. Also, make sure you do a full range of motion while you lift. Finally, drink more water.
