you could do high intensity cardio on a bike or a step machine as well.....
It's only an issue of heart rate
Yeah no kidding, if someone says that a stair master is low intensity, I would tell them to crank that bitch up a few levels and get with it!! I bust my ass on a Stairmaster 3 times a week and I can tell you that levels 12 - 15 are not low intensity...especially if you are doing them for 25 - 30 mins!!

It doesn't matter what you do for cardio, just put more intensity into it and it will become high intensity.
