Thread: Two Cardio Sessions A Day...

Two Cardio Sessions A Day...
I was entertaining the thought of adding another cardio session on top of my morning cardio.
Have any of you guys implemented an extra cardio session, or would this be a bad idea, and one morning session is enough?

Mate at the moment I am doing AM and PM cardio and I tell you my gains have increased by far. I do AM on empty stomach, train sometime during the day and then PM cardio again. It will really take it out of you, you will feel so exhausted (especially if you live buzy days), but I believe it's worth it.

By the way I started of AM cardio only with training in the PM, but my gains started to slow down after about 2 months so I added a second session in the PM and as I said, works really well.

Are you doing two 30 minute sessions or two 45 minute sessions?

Mate I was going to do a 45min sesh in the AM and a 30min low intesity session in the PM, but I have been doing 45min in the AM and 45min in the PM and have been really happy with the gains.

Hello there M8,
Are you doing this PM Cardio after your LAST meal??? If so, how long after??? If not please explain... I am doing a Cardio ONLY workout right now (See My Thread Here) to get ready for my Bulking cycle... I was thinking of incorporating a PM Cardio to help Ramp Up the Fat Burning...

i have done double sessions and the results FOR ME were off. i wasnt prepared to compensate with extra calories, got overtrained, and in all was unhappy with the results.
i now have a better cardio regiment doing way less and making much better gains.

hmmm would it be helpful in cutting or would it just be too much with calorie deficit mixed in there.

Like Gear, I love this regimen.
I do cardio/midsection in the morning on an empty stomach (w/Eph), and cardio/lift in the late afternoon (4pm). It's fantastic, and the gear keeps me anabolic so no muscle wasting...only heart health and fat-burning.

This protocol could also be utilized while bulking, but obviously one would need to be cognizant of cardio calorie expenditures in order to replace them. Although this may seem senseless (burning then adding), one must keep in mind what is being burned.
