    Talking I'm missing my hamstrings.

I just took some pics of myself to compare them to other pics...and I just now realized that I have no hamstrings my quads make up the majority of my upper legs...so does anyone have a hamstring only workout that will put mass onto the back of my legs?

Actually I saw a good move in the last issue of Muscle and Fitness. You kneel on the seat for the lat pull down machine with your legs hooked under the knee rest. Then you lean forward til your parallel to the floor. You need to use a barbell or a pole as an aid because so far I find it impossible to do this move without it. After 8-10 reps just from bodyweight your hams will be pumped.

SLDL once again, king of hamstring exercises, not a conventional style deadlift, a "stiff-legged deadlift"

You know I do stiff legged deads on a weekly basis as part of my leg routine but I just never seemed to get any kind of pump from it. I start with the deads, then I do single leg curls then seated leg curls and now I'm doing these ham raises.

they stretch real good this is an exercise where, for me, the lighter the weight the better for that contraction, i don't feel it if i go too heavy cus my form is not up to par

I go up to 235-285 3 sets of 8-12. No heavier cause I don't want to risk making my lower back wider. Usually my lower back is so pumped after this I either have to quit for the day or lay down on a bench for awhile.

Yeah I did 3 sets of ten today after my deads. My hams were hurtin. I can feel my legs getting stronger so hopefully soon I'll be able to do the raises without the aid of a pole.

Ass to grass squats for sure. When I'm done squatting, by the time I get to the hamstring curl machine, I can't do much. They really hit 'em hard.

I totally agree on ass to grass squats however one needs to maintain a near to perfect technique to feel it in the hamstrings IMO.. Once I start to go forward, I lose the pump on my hams..

Oh ya learning how to do a hang snatch and a hang clean will do wonders for your hams and traps make sure you get someone to teach you dont look it up online and try it heavy.

Def. dead lifts... try doing them on a box... a lot more killer than having your feet planted on the ground...
