Im in a period now where I've gained some muscle and I am trying to burn off the rest of my bodyfat before I start lifting to bulk again. Im a natty, 5'10, 205, and 25yrs old. Right now my days look like this:
7am: Get up, go do cardio for ~40mins on empty stomach.
8am: 22g protein Muscle Milk Shake, 3/4 cups natural oats, 3/4 cups egg whites (20 more g protein)
1030am: Chicken breast, grilled, sandwich/salad, etc.
1pm: A lean meat, grilled or steamed veggies, and another muscle milk or low carb whey shake
then the rest of the day I follow a ~45g protein and some mixture of natural carb via veggies every 2.5-3hrs until 8pm or so, and I cut back to only a lean protein. Im eating about 6/7 times a day taking in 250-ish grams protein a day.
Im wanting to incorporate weight lifting into this also, but would it be redundant? Im trying to cut that bodyfat out, and I know we cant all cut/bulk at the same time..but im concerned that im losing too much size/strength while im cutting.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Maybe cardio on empty stomach in the AM, and weight lift in the PM? Or Cardio AND weights on empty stomach, i dunno. What is the best way to engage my workout?
