    best shoes for cardio

Ok, yes I searched the board before I asked but am kinda under the gun on time. I am looking for shoes that I can skip rope, treadmill and stair stepper and the occasional walking outdoors. I would prefer some extreme cushioning as I have pronated feet (high arches that do not allow for equal weight distribution that absolutley cripples me)that can be very painful. I do wear great very expensive inserts, but the extra cushioning helps. thanks ya'll

Asics make some lovely running shoes which are ideal for cardio applications, If you go to a running specific shop they will assess your foot type (there are many) and guide you to which style of shoe would be suitable for your feet.

I'm a die hard Nike guy for running. Been using them since high school. They make some great dual density rubber mid-soles that are designed for pronators.

Well.. as a athlete I must say that we can't say anything about what is best for you. It's all about what kind of feet you got. Personally I've got a pretty broad foot so that's why I run with "New Balance". For a more standard footshape Asics is a good choice..

What really works well is just going to a footlocker near you and let the experts advice you and try some running shoes with a good damping (Because you'll be running on hard surfaces)
