if you are going to failure, maybe
if he is giving you a percentage of your rep max, and rep number to do, than probably no
for ex, in hs, our coach had us on all those exercises twice a week also, like only 3 days apart
but he told us for ex 70 percent 1rm for 10 reps........or whatever......then the second time of the week, it would alwways be a hair less intense.....this is fine
but if you are going to failure, than yes, maybe overtraining
volume is a factor also........if its really low, you might be alright
