    Uber's Journal

Yes, I am starting my journal again. I used to have one while ago, I was doing so damn good, but I didn't keep up with my diet all the time, then started missing more meals, eating crap, missing workouts, neglecting deadlift and legs, missing more workouts, before I knew it I didn't have a diet, I ate everything and my routine was just sad.
I got chubby fast... I am 6`3 at 242Lbs right now with about good 18BF.
I have totally no excuse whatsoever to be like this. I work in Fitness equipment store, I start work not sooner than 10am. I have a $3k elliptical at home, and other strenght training machines with free weights worth another $3k.
    I am single too.
This is ridiculous, I mean... I have tits ok...and I cannot fit in my 34 pants at all, even 36s that I have are EXTREMELY tight. I had to buy 38s. I am right on the border of being fat, not chubby, fat!

I am going to totally dedicate myself. Starting RIGHT NOW!

Hope you guys enjoy this journal, it will help me, it always does.
Come in and take a peek anytime!

Audi, well that sucks, I remember You were really looking forward to that competition. I am sure you are planning on joining when next one is around, aren't you ?

TR, my goal, well... my ultimate goal is to be 265Lbs at 12%.
Short term, get as much good mass as possible and get as strong as possible naturally within next 7 months.
Then cut for summer, maintain through the summer, start bulking up again fall of 2008, most likely do my 1st cycle. Test E only 500mg.

How about You fellas, what's the plan ?!

well, never really go that low...lowest was probly 10% but I started doing higher intensity cardio vs. rowing on the elliptical....hasn't effected my muscle loss in any way. Also, being consistant with my diet. I guess I've been training more for strength vs. size

good lifts buddy! how many days/week are you lifting?

I see. Well, I am sure I will be asking you once again some time from now about what wokrked best for you. I will definitely try it.

I am going to lift whenever I don't feel too sore. I am not going to make excuses such overtraining, or because my muscle is sore a littlebit.
Let it be 7 days a week, If my body will be able to handle it, you better believe I am going to do it.

Plus, if I sound too crazy, I was watching Pumping Iron about 20 minutes ago

These guys lifted like monsters, it was so damn painfull. Workouts so intense I could feel them just by watching !!!

    I love this...

Hey Moto! That's cool that you remember that!
It seems like it healed up pretty good. But I will be sure when I will get some heavy deadlift done. For now, everything seems to be fine, lets hope it stays like that.

How about you ?! What is your plan for fall/winter time?
    I hope you heal quick!

Right on, Uber...power back clean meals then. I have been focusing on a lean bulk for the summer. I had dropped down to about 173 lbs by the end of last school year...way too small. Since then I have been taking in about 3500kcals (clean) and hitting the weights 3-4 times a week. In my avy I'm 180ish (taken about two months ago). Have gotten up to about 190lbs (presently) and the strongest I have been.

The plan is to cut the kcals back in the next couple of weeks- I've got a local BJJ comp. coming up in 6 weeks and would like to drop down to the 186 division (with gi) - and up my conditioning circuit to twice a week. I'll gauge progress after that.

    Anyways bro, keep it up!

Well, see the way I look at it, ANY kind of competition is great, becuase You got to such level that You are ready to stand against others.
Definitely something to be proud of man.

For me it would be a great success just to BE IN a competition. Most likely bodybuilding, maybe powerlifting.

But if I really wanted to do it, I am at least 3 years away. I would be 27 then.
I think I can accomplish a lot in 3 years.
Will see. For now it's only a dream

    Good luck brother.

    Thanks Audi! Much appreciated, bro!

I've actually got a log which I've had on the go for about 4 months now..half on my comp/the other half written out. Following Uber's lead, I was thinking about starting one up on the boards.

I'm hitting the gym in a couple hours for my max rep day. Feeling totally cashed right now (conditioning circuit of tire flips, prowler sled, kettle bells, bike sprints and agile pads killed me last night)- about to pound back 1 gr vitamine C, brew up some coffee and grab a handful of 8mg ephedrine tabs (haha)!

How bout you, bro? BTW, you ever do any zercher squats? I'm curious to know what you thought.

Well Audis, I can probably take some photos and post them but God... you will see some chunk of chubbines and farmers tan!

But you are right, it is the best way to notice the progress.

As far as workout today, bit more of biceps (2 day biceps strike) and elliptical for cardio. Back is really sore, chest should be ready to go at it again right after legs on Sunday.

no, don't ever do zercher squats. What are those. Just stick to normal (sumo stance) and straight legged.

    Yo bro,

Log isn't on the internet, just on an excel file I have.

Youtube zercher squats or zercher deads...I had never seen them before

Or check out this elite fitness description- http://asp.elitefts.com/qa/default.a...=33903&tid=102

    The look pretty intense.

Right on, bro...I am digging the front squats as an auxillary exercise for my back squats.

Havent tried the zerchers yet, though.

Hope it stays healed. I'm working on a new program right now, just putting the final research and thoughts into it. It's completely different than any other routine I'v run before so hopefully it will shock me into some new growth. When I get it finished I'll post it.

Audis, no I don't know my max lifts. Never really tried, I don't want to be sad haha
Squats are not great, I never had a routine with squats in it, I mean.. I would do them once a month. Totally neglected my legs this way. I am going to it from now on.

    Moto,
Can't wait to see that TOP SECRET plan of Yours.
Good deal man, long time to go for all of us, lots of weight to be lifted. I just hope our bodies won't say F U later down the road. All this stress and pressure. It's crazy when You think about it.

Wow, I can barely get up from sitting. Incredible pain/soreness in lower back muscles. I hope this is due to good session after a good time off from lifting.
