Today was the day I was supposed to train chest and back HEAVY. Meaning I was going for heavy poundage/ low rep ballistic training for chest. Well I get to the gym and after about 3 warm up sets which feel more difficult than usual I finally get to a weight to which I should be able to perfrom about 5 reps ballistic style, but I can only BARELY manage to get three. So instead of staying at the gym and slugging through a shitty workout..i decided to just stop..go home...eat a good meal and save the workout until tomorrow after breakfast when i was well rested. I have felt kind of tired and lacking motivation today. I have a slight headache and have been tired..lethargic today. Also I trained shoulders/bis/tris yesterday...and I felt my tri's burning alot on my sets so i know they have yet to recover. My question is this: Will the 2 heavy sets + 3 warm up sets necesarily effect my chest strength tomorrow or should I be okay? I mean i just barely got a pump in my chest before i quit...and i was taking 1.5 + minute breaks as I was dragging today. Tomorrow my shoulders and arms will be WAY beter recovered and I will be alot more rested. So do you think i will be okay?
