    Rest-pause training +

Hey guys, I have a few questions. First off, I'm a natural lifter and am following Nick Nilsonns Rest-Pause Training Program (trying to add some mass). I've already got my diet down, but here's the thing... I was doing some research earlier today on Chad Waterbury because I know a few friends who follow a couple of his programs and have had excellent gains in size and strength. He is absolutely adament about the fact that you should NEVER train to failure. This is completely in contrast to everything I've ever been told (played football for 14 years, plenty of lifting experience). I'd like to hear what you guys think about training to failure for mass.

    Wink

I can assure you that training past failure with any training technique (including rest-pause) will hold you back in several ways. After warming up take each set 1 rep shy of absolute gut bursting failure and you will make the best size gains.
