6 day plan vs every other day

I was wondering what thoughts people had about working out 6 days a week with one rest day VS and every other day workout. It seems that I really like working out 6 days with chest/tri----back/bi---shoulders/leg. But, what results are you guys out from every other day or maybe something different.

You can train 3 on/1 off for 8 weeks if you do it right..It all depends on your goals. 3 days a week for getting big and 5 days per week for getting as big as humanly possible.

this makes no sense to me.......muscle is built on off days combined with "eating as much as humanly possible"

I would have to agree, more rest and food is the biggest factor IMO........working out tends to be the easy part for me at least.
