    Cardio Confused

there are many opinions and contradictions when it comes to cardio for fat loss. tell me what you think. HIT cardio has been discussed alot lately as being scientifically proven to be more effective at burning fat then the old school method of low intensity for longer duration. obviously a pro bodybuilder of 260 lbs can't be--and shouldn't be doing HIT--because his bodymass will not allow him to spare muscle and the cardio will prove catabolic. anyway. i'm 44 and have about 18% bf at 5'10 at 185lbs. i'm trying to keep/gain muscle and lose some bodyfat. i'd like to be at 10% eventually. can i do this naturally. i now eat 1.5grms of protein per lb of bodyweight. lots of water. eat every 2.5 hours. i'm not sure how much carbs my diet should consist of but do eat more in the am and then postworkout. i take a good quality fat/oil with my shakes in distilled water. i train 5 days a week. i started a cycle of Test E at 100mg a week for 5 weeks and then the 6th week 200mg. the 100mg did very little. 200mg felt good but now i lost my connection to AAS (which i'm trying to find again). i've been doing my cardio am on an empty stomach for 30mins of HIT alternating between 133 HR to about 145 heart rate. i think that one only loses muscle by doing cardio if they are doing way too much or if they are not eating enough--enough protein. what do you guys think? thanks very much. i'm new to this site. feel free to email/message me.
