    Poll: Training days per week.

Due to my new work scedule my training split will have to be changed next week. I currently train 1-3, 4 off, 5-6, 7 off. I can no longer make it to the gym on sat or sunday, so im trying to plan a new split. I know there are as many opinions on this as there is members here, but just thought id get a little first hand info. Thanx to all. How many days a week do you train??

I agree with Johny. It depends on how much you do at a time too. There should be an inverse relationship between the length of your workout and the number of days a week you train. When one goes up the other must go down.

I have been doing a Pull/Lower/Push (M/W/F)....so, 3 days per week for me. My workouts last 1 hour. I am thinkning of going to a 4 day per week split and limit my workouts to 45 min.

In my opinion, 3-4 days per week should be max for most people whose goals are to gain mass and strength. I think that the absolute best option is to train EOD, however that is not possible for most (my gym is not open on sundays and it is hard to find a training partner who would follow this routine).
