    Question any one use bowflex?

    hey guys im currently half way threw my 12 wk cycle and im using a bowflex extreame 2 noticing more resistance on one side then the other its doing a wicked job but im getting one amr and pec bigger then the other?!?!?!
    every thing is in synce every thing lines up WTF????
    any one have similar problems?

    I have used it before and I dont like it. To jerky and not a fluid motion throughout all the movements. I would not train with one IMO

    Another problem w/bowflex is that you don't have the full effect of the weight/resistance until its half way bent or until your half way tho the motion!

    damn things anoying, nautilas canada assures me that i will have a new one by the end of the week even when i call on a friday!!!
    new version too cant say any thing about costomer service thats for sure.

    but ya you cant complete most of your movements
    i think im gonna keep it though i am getting some kick ass definition im my chest.
    just have to have more weight on one side for now

    It is a well marketed item. Everyone knows bowflex. Company made their money on impulse buyers paing roughly $1k over retail.

    Rods bent over time. You don't get full resistance through out the motion as you would lifting the real weight.

    Not only the rod resistance does not equall to the real weight resistance, the pulley system is not 100% efficient either.

    Which means that if you set it to 50lb resistance you are probably pulling about 10-15lb at the beginning of the rep and maybe 20-30 at the end of the rep.

    Simply.... overpriced, well marketed POS.
