New routine time
Hey guys. Was thinking of starting a new routine and was thinking of doing a 5x5 routine since I hear they are great for putting on weight.
Any info on doing a 5x5? I've never done one...

I like the 5x5 workout but only on big compound movements like squat, deads and chest presses. The way I use it is say 5x5 on squats then sets of 15-20 on all other leg movements. Its good for strength but I still like to get my higher reps for a good pump.

it has all been said man!do the 5x5 on the basic compound moves and 10-12 rep for the secondary ones!(like 5x5 incline,10-12 flyes or 5x5 squat 10-12 press)
